To provide identity-related customer services to clientele. The primary services are to secure, capture, and transmit electronic fingerprints for employment, certification, licensing and other verification purposes. This position reports directly to the Community Career Center Manager. Job performance is reviewed annually.


The role of the Career Center Assistant is to provide needed support to clients visiting the Center and to the Career Center Manager. The Career Center Manager will ensure that appropriate training and indoctrination takes place and will also be available for support and guidance on a daily basis. Specific individuals will be designated to assist with fingerprinting. Only individuals approved and trained can assist with this function. 




  1. Provide identity-related services to clients.


  1. Mailing, copying, scanning and faxing documents as needed.


  1. Customer Service to clients.


  1. Data entry as needed.


  1. Typing forms as required.




  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent


  1. Ability to sit up right in a chair.


  1. Good organizational skills.


  1. Ability to remain calm under pressure.


  1. Ability to be detailed oriented.


  1. Ability to handle a large amount of sensitive information and keep it confidential.
